I thought it needed to be ground before putting it into the vinegar.It won't be an easy or comfortable job.
What is the recommended oil and vinegar mixture? What about leaving the root as is and coating with a preservative wax and refrigerating? Freezing? I'm going to have pounds this fall and want to prepare.
